I offer private lessons on editing, retouching and optimizing digital photographs using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

Private lessons have many distinct benefits over the traditional classroom or large group:

1. Instruction is tailored to you. This means you will choose:
    • What you want to learn - choose what is most important to you & I will customize a program around you (see program examples below)
      • When you want to learn - pick the day and time (dependent on availability)
    • How you want to learn - whether watching and taking notes, or following along on your own computer
    • The pace at which you want to progress - go as fast or as slow as you are comfortable
2. Learn not only the tools but also how and when to apply them to improve your photos.
3. Ask as many questions as you want.
4. Repeat anything you are not sure about.
5. Bring your own images to work on if you desire.

Some examples of programs offered:
• Introduction to Adobe Lightroom - overview of the program, learn the basics to get you started
• Importing, organizing, editing and backing up images in Lightroom
• Advanced image processing in Lightroom (requires working knowledge of Lightroom, or previous Introduction to Lightroom instruction)
• Introduction to Adobe Photoshop - overview of the program, learn the basics to get you started
• Advanced selections and masking in Photoshop for targeted adjustments (requires working knowledge of Photoshop, or previous

Introduction to Photoshop instruction)
• Retouching in Photoshop - from simple fixes to advanced professional techniques (requires working knowledge of Photoshop, or

previous Introduction to Photoshop instruction)
• RAW photo processing with Lightroom from start to print (requires working knowledge of Lightroom, or previous Introduction to

Lightroom instruction)
• The best of both worlds - using Lightroom and Photoshop together to achieve amazing results (requires working knowledge of

Lightroom and Photoshop, or previous Introduction to Lightroom and Introduction to Photoshop instruction)
